Things like prestige atm are not considered important for a medical student choosing a uni, but soon there will be a surge in medical students graduating from 2012, therefore prestige might play a more significant role in the future, not quite like it does in professions such as law though.

UWA release offers after their year 12 exams so don't expect anything untill late november. I think offers are usually made by email and then u can go online to book times etc

Unfortunately only successful applicants are contacted. If u think u should've recieved an interview u should probably call them up and ckeck to be safe.

The ACER booklets are LOT easier than the actual UMAT though. Still, itt gives u some idea.

u can get an interview normally with low ninties as an interstater but i'v only heard of one example - a person i knew got an interview (and an offer) with ~94-93 but he was rural and he emphasized that fact repeatedly in the application. JCU do favour rural/aboriginal applicants.

well if u didnt apply through the rural stream then im sorry to say that ur score wont be enough for an interview this year. UNCLE don't send letters to unsuccessful aplicants unfortunately.

JMP dont use predicted UAI's - the interviews are given on the basis of UMAT scores alone. Your UAI comes in later. People who live in Newcastle are eligible for the Deans Regional List and therefore can recieve interviews with a lower UMAT score than the normal cutoff. You don't have to apply...

thanks - dont worry i'll need all the luck in this world and more to do well. i could imagine a life without high school at the start of this year let alone by the 3rd exam. well atleast i'll never have to do english ever again :D hopefully i'll see u in NSW next year.

was ur interview on the 3rd of october at 3pm? if yes then i was the guy at the interview from vic. unfortunately we cant pick our times for UNCLE, they are allocated but it would be weird if they are the same again. man i should be studying...My exams start tommorrow - with a nice 3.15 hr...

the interviews are from the 12th of november to the 10th of december.
