Sigh, I was hoping mid-session break might be just that, a break (for once). It's turned into mid-session catch up once more, hahah. Oh well.

Go to the tute-lab Tute: You learn stuff which is important, examinable, AND helpful Lab: You get lab marks for completing lab excercises. Probably 2 points per lab, 1 per task. You might think "oh its only like 15% or something all up..." but that 15% could mean the difference between a CR...

It really depends on the course, not the degree. I know friends who got distinctions in their commerce courses in S1/2 and didn't do a lot. I did a commerce course and got a D session 2, I probably put a few hours work in over the week to make sure I'd done my readings for the tute, and...

I don't think you should install water cooling You'd be much better getting a bigger case with proper fan cooling =)

It was also the first time the course had run, with a great lecturer (who does set challenging tasks). It was difficult (Note I have previous experience), and I struggled with parts of it, but it is doable.
