Yep true. When I rang SBS they qouted me the NRSL selection rank. It was exactly the same as the UAI cut off.

Ya I understand that. I musnt have explained it well. I just meant that your GPA is used to calculate your new mark (NRSL) which it is. Some people might use their WAM and this would be wrong. But the question still stands anyways.

May I ask how the uni responded. I was under the impression that you would have to reapply through UAC after first year. To do this they take the average of your UAI and your GPA (equated to a mark out of 100, look at the transfer subforum if you want to know more about that). So, say if you...

Not true actually. Internal transfers and external transfers at newcstle university are handled by uac. Which isnt very good for me. Dam UAI, pulling me down.

I think if you did it last year it was your HSC number or whatever with a one in front. Dont hold me to this. But if it ring any bells then thats why.

I guess it says more about how hard uni is than how high the rank is for passing. But saying that I have found what I am doing pretty easy so far.

No no No. They get all your marks of your institution. They will forward all your info throught to UAC or whatever when they have finished all the marking. As the other person said you dont get them back until janurary so thats plenty of time for them to get all your info and then work out...

I dont think you get how poor our uni is.

For some reason I was buying one day tickets for all of the first semester. 3*4*13=$156 for parking permits. $60=parking for one sem. thats 156-60=$96 wasted. Isnt really that much I guess.
