Harder 3U is the worst topic, by far. Even dreaded mechanics has no questions of similar evilness to compete with harder 3 unit.
A question which requires binomial expansion in n, fancy algebra fiddling, inequalities work, combined with harder integration and harder probability that takes...
"I'm so cut!" said the parabola to the chord.
And well, this has already been pointed out, sort of, but:
"Stop touching me!" said the curve to the tangent.
Huge Mr Derivative storms into the meeting of mathematical symbols, and everyone runs off screaming, except for one.
"What...
I've just spent my whole holidays cutting mine down from ~12,000 words to ~8,000. The thing was I figured half of what I write was going to be absolute rubbish so I aimed for double just to be sure - and conveniently forgot the Reflection Statement is included in the word limit.
Doh. I'm in...
Just finished my fourth and starting on my fifth. The reason I have so many is I glue everything that even relates to EE2 in it because if I didn't, I'd lose all my work.
I have exactly the opposite problem; my Reflection Statement is going to be too long. I'm about 1,200 words into my RS and I still haven't been able to justify everything I've done. -_-" Maybe I'm just not good at being succinct.
Wow, lots of feminist perspectives being taken. My crit response is on whether there are any "real" women portrayed in the fantasy genre, and by real I mean "plausible for said woman to exist in today's society as a norm, not an exception".
Incidentally, for those who are doing something...
No tutoring!
I've never had tutoring and I do fine. I can't aford to pay someone an obscene amount of money to give me more questions to do. I'd rather spend the money on textbooks/past papers - it gives the same affect.
If you force yourself to do enough of the questions, you'll...
Make your subconcious work for you...record yourself talking your notes aloud and burn them to cd. Put cd on repeat while you sleep. I've never tried it before, but if it works for those loony tape therapies, it might work for studying. I'd imagine you'd have to love the sound of your own...
The high point of being forced as a 4U student to do the 2U exam is the amount of self esteem boosting it can do, when you finish waaaaay early.
The low point is getting that exam back and finding you didn't do half as well as you anticipated, because it's "only 2U".
The even lower point...
With sciences, dotpoints, dotpoints, dotpoints! They are the most well-done syllabuses I've come across and the best thing is the amount of stuff that's been taken out of them. Many of the textbooks haven't cut out the excess so make sure you know your syllabus and don't waste time learning...
Well, it seems my chem teacher doesn't fit into this pattern. He's totally awesome, hilarious and loves his chemistry. He always makes his classes interesting, and is really enthusiastic. He thinks about ten times as fast as he can write so sometimes he'll put the wrong thing up on the board...
Changing the way you hold your pen really does help. I find holding a pen the "normal" way really hurts my hand a lot (probably because the way I hold it is anything but normal) and when my friend showed me a different grip, I could write so much faster.
Basically, you hold the pen between...
Yes, that's what I've been told. In the past when my school's arranged for more than 3 assessment tasks on the same day, we've always been able to protest and get one of them moved.
It's worth looking up the Board of Studies and seeing whether it is an actual rule, or whether most schools...
