I recommend Nexus Place. The managers are very friendly and the rent includes everything (Internet, Pay TV, Washing facilities..) @ $163pw for a full year lease. That is where I am staying. J.

Gold Coast Campus is massive but should be fairly easy to get around. It's also very modern and has many, many students =) J.
