To my knowledge Usyd doesn't calculate or put a WAM on any transcript (whether during or after you have finished your degree). They certainly didn't with my BA or LLB...
Doing something you enjoy, making friends in those subjects who can talk to about work etc usually assists me.
However if you think you may need to re-evaluate what you are studying, or perhaps are a bit burnt out after high school and need a break, then deferring for a semester could be a...
I know i am very excited!!
Not sure as to my involvement around here...probably not as much - see how it pans out. I'm just so glad its all going to be finally over. I have very much enjoyed uni, but 6.5 years is a little too long. I want to work/have money! :p
I have my last exam tomorrow! So desperate to finish...just hope I pass (its 100%). But then that's it - I'm finally done at uni! :) only took me 6.5 years...
The science handbook for the year you started will provide you with the information you need about requirements to attain the degree.
The 2013 handbook for science is available here: http://sydney.edu.au/handbooks/science/undergraduate/b_science/b_science.shtml

Re: At usyd if u transfer from a totally different faculty is ur transcript wiped?

Re: Please understand my dire situation (ALL FAIL) and HELP ME CHOOSE FROM MY OPTIONS
Like what has already been said in this thread, you need to work out why you had such a difficult first semester and make sure that you are able to overcome those issues before continuing studies (whether at...
In law they do - because they are required to pass the course (there are two 0 credit point Legal Research units that students are required to do - but its just pass/fail - so it appears on transcript as 'satisfied requirements'). At least in law. Might depend on what the subject is/whether it...
lol probably my most frustrating part of the university experience! especially with 100% riding on it :p although realistically I just have to pass - last semester! :)
take home due tomorrow. 100%. I remember why I dislike take home exams so much - it's not an exam, and not an assignment - the expectations of the marker are somewhere in the middle...you just don't know where! :(
I bought one in first year...still good 6 years later (although they could have changed them since then). To be fair though, I haven't worn it in a few years...kind of outgrown the wearing my usyd hoodie out of the house. They are really warm though - pretty good for winter.
You don't need to use big words that no one has heard of. There is some law specific terminology that you pick up over time, but the main focus of law writing these days is plain language legal writing. People want to understand what you are writing/speaking about. The days of really obscure...
