Hi,
Is it possible to have 2 majors and 1 minor for B Computer Science? For example majors in computer networks and ecommerce and a minor in marketing?
For the past years has discrete mathematic's timetable always been 1 hr lecs for 4 days.. making you go to uni for 4 days kinda sux when you could simply do 3 days. I was thinking of waiting till next semester.. but if its still going to be 4 days then i'll jsut do it this semester.. with friday...
GPA would be worked out using applicants most recent studies. If I don't commerce its not too bad, i'll just minor in marketing as IT is my primary future career. Not going to bother changing institutions again. Thanks for the reply though cheers.
I have 1 FTE of nursing but I don't think that will get me into comm anyway and 0.5 FTE Maths/Comp which won't be used due to only being 0.5. I might just do Comp Science for 3 semester and wait till 2010 admissions but what gpa must I be on to be competitive enough.
Mid year offers released, I was offered

I actually want to do B Comm/Comp Sci however it wasn't offered during mid year admissions. From the 5 degrees there which is best to accept in attempt to transfer into Comm/Comp Sci and also with a safe...
I've dead set decided to do networking for my IT major but I'm not quite sure what business major is a good mix with networking. I have thought of doing banking for network security with banks and I could work some where in that field though banking is abit narrow as banking to me means jobs...
My friend in 06' obtain a UAI 89 she got into commerce then. My other friend did speech pathology at USYD fail 2 subject which greatly affected her GPA but her UAI was 92 she got into commerce/social science with the cut off at 95.20. With a combination of UAI and GPA its evident that she did...
I'm not sure what they'll do with medicine, but in general for other courses applied through UAC its 25% UAI and 75% GPA. All UAC does is send the institution the applicants 'selection rank' composed by UAI and GPA. And the institution choses what they'll use, UTS for instance uses 50/50 of...
From emails I receive from UNSW they don't use WAM. It's solely based on 25% UAI and 75% GPA.
To work out your GPA. Grade = HD = 7, D = 6, C = 5, P = 4, F = 0.
Grade x Credit Points
--------------------------
Sum of Credit Points
Eg. Semester 1 you did 4 subjects each worth 6 credit points...
I emailed UNSW Undergraduate Admissions about transfering the other day with a response saying that they will take 25% UAI and 75% tertiary if you have completed 0.75 FTE. So if you did not complete 0.75 FTE your selection rank will be base solely on your UAI.
So its not which ever is higher...
Reading through the thread.. runable you're just an ignorant child. Do some reaserch on courses and not on university rankings.. a univeristy being prestige means nothing. A person with HD average at UWS (knowns to be less reputable) > pass average at usyd.. I don't see being pretigious helps...
