well theyre high school teachers and not physicists. uni gives a lot more marks for being right (and a lot less for rambling). for reference, i think hsc marking is not the best and sometimes you just have to ramble so the marker realises uve covered what's required i didnt figure out anything...

dont do homework (or at least the useless parts) do high-yield things

like 99.5 i would assume i think usyd has some better courses (e.g. finc3015), but it's probably easier to keep a higher wam in unsw finance which helps for employment

oh also friend groups are defs not established by y8. try making more friends, being nicer and more social. can be from other schools as well and whatnot

do maths, informatics and science olympiads. learning 4u in y8 isnt very useful. your time would be better spent doing aimo/amo and building a stronger problem-solving base for later on (if u do decide to do something in stem)
