i put C as well. To be honest it was a dumb question, depending on whether you measured to the bottom of the line it was 482, and if you measured to the top it was 490. Hopefully they accept both answers
the stupidity in this thread is amazing. To the op, the geo exam was pretty similar in difficulty to previous years and so band 6 cutoff will be low to mid 80's, i'd guess 83/84
what deswa is saying is correct, but I understand your problem. I think you're thinking about the effects more in the long run rather than short term.
Firstly if the value of imports increased while exports remained the same then in the short term Australia is going to need to pay more for...
I don't think its easier, but having said that I didn't find prelim difficult. What I would say is that the HSC course is a lot more interesting and relevant than prelim. I found prelim very dry and found it difficult to place where the content was coming from, however HSC is set out much better...
notsureifsrs government policies is literally all of topic 4 so u obviously need to know it. If your question was do we need to know how government policies are used to achieve the economic objectives of topic 3, then the answer is also yes.
hahaha, thankyou for this I needed a good laugh today. You're either a poor troll, or just genuinely clueless about atars. Your school rank is decent, your internal ranks are pretty good, and your subjects all scale fairly well. From here if you just rocked up to the exams having done no more...
where do I sign up for membership. I was coming 14/100 for 3U maths then absolutely capitulated during trials and have ended up 56/100. I was a good 20% below the median for the trial, and what's worse is that it wasn't even that difficult I just inexplicably fucked up a fairly easy exam. Ah...
haha, you've been caught out mate. Anyway surely your "friend" is smart enough that he doesn't need us to vindicate his ranks, which are obviously 98+.
i thought it would be interesting to point out that it sounds like your teacher found a lot of "inspiration" for your question from the independent 2012 trial stimulus essay, which was very similar but a much more feasible question of - explain the role of macroeconomic activity in achieving...
Wow, that's an odd question you were given- very ambiguously worded. In the hsc i'm fairly sure they'd be much more specific to avoid mass confusion. I guess the fact that the question just says policies and not macroeconomic policies would suggest that a discussion of microeconomic policy...
Re: economics multiple choice questions help !! URGENT !!
going off the top of my head
b
b
c
b
a
c
c or d, youve given both options as the same
this one could be a or c, "a" will result in firms paying higher wages to attract workers resulting in cost push inflation. "c" could result in...
G'day all
so the past couple of weeks i've been experiencing the stress and pain of the dreaded trial hsc exam block, and whilst unfortunately i think i screwed up 5/7 of my exams i have learnt a lot of things about the hsc which have hopefully made this trial quite a useful exercise.
