Depends how well you do in 4 unit. If you think you're doing ok after a term or two, might as well drop your weakest subject to make it 12 units. If you don't think you're doing well, you're probably better off focusing on 11 or 12 units. I think 14 is too much.
Good Luck :P
Geography is probably one of the most enjoyable subjects. Learning about plants and animals, different ecosystems on this beautiful planet and how humans affect our environment is crucial to reflect upon the world we live in.
You should aim for 90+ in Geography to get yourself a good scaled mark. A mark of around 70-80 will pull you down greatly in this subject as opposed to economics or 4U Maths.
Have a go at 4U. At least for term 4. If you're doing well in 3U then it should be no prob. You don't have to be a genius to do 4U like everyone thinks. 50% in 4U HSC will generally get you 80+.
I believe the tax cuts will only increase spending rather than saving. Aggregate demand will go up and the reserve bank will have to put interest rates up again. Foreign debt is about 420 million now (over 50% of Australia's GDP), if interest rates don't go up this the debt and CAD will...
Didn't really like the budget, did jack crap for poor families like me :(
Eco was fun today though, discussing last nights budget and teacher let us leave early just because it was budget day~~ ^o) haha
Better than celebrating mole day for chem, thats totally ludicrous ;)
4U is scaled really cool, getting final mark of 70 wont affect your UAI badly at all, and if your coming 1st, 2nd or 3rd, what are worrying about? I'm coming about 35th out of 41, its all cool, take it easy...:)
5 Classes in our school are doing Gwen Harwood, I'm in the only class that does Yeats poetry --- its quite unpopular...no notes to scab off others, no sample essays, hardly any good critics..... :( :( :( :( :(
Wahh!!!! (Cry)
I got HD but didn't get to know my mark... :(
I want to aim for a prize this year! :D
And this time I'll know who Adam Smith Is!!! :vcross:
Good luck to all
