Hey there :headbang:
I do international studies from this year (but in 2nd year overall), and also do Japanese studies. :)
You will have compulsory subjects and what semester and year you do them will depend on availability and whether they will clash with your other subjects.
This...
Hey again
Yeah, hmm about numbers. I remember at the beginning one of our tutors mentioning there were 80 people last year (2008) for interior design..which would've gone down a little into second semester as some people decided it wasn't for them. I can't be sure though about the student...
Yeah interior design really did jump up didn't it?! I wonder if UTS offered too many places last year or something, or it just got more popular and therefore competitive?
Hey there,
I'll be in 2nd year interior design this year, 2009. Yes, we do
have a computer class in 1st year, most likely you'll also have this in 2nd
semester.
We went through Photoshop, Sketch-up, and a more
advanced design program called Vectorworks...all of which I had
absolutely no...
Hey
I remember you saying you are doing Interior design at UTS this year. I'm doing the same course and still haven't worked out who you are. I don't think there are many people doing combined with International studies like you are.
So just wondering if you are still around on BOS.
^_^...
I started Maccas at 18 and it was my first part time job, so I must've been pretty lucky. :P I get something like 13.34 an hour.
I think for a first job you really can't complain toooo much otherwise you can't work your way up.
Hey guys,
Just wondering what you think would be the minimum number of months you should work at a place (as a casual), in order to be able to write it as a reference. 6 months? 8? At least a year? At the moment I'm in a bit of a situation as I don't know if I can (due to some issues) stay...
Hey there,
What faculty will you be studying as part of? I am doing design, and I had the same 'problem'. I rang up UTS, and they told me that it is the same situation for other students. However, don't take my word as this may depend upon your course perhaps??
Thank you heaps for all your advice, to those who contributed to this thread of mine.
I guess just the idea of losing money for the business, making people annoyed, etc scared me. Hopefully I should learn it all soon.
(BTW, I work at a maccas in St George)
Hi there
Ok so I recently started working at Maccas, and already on my 2nd shift I was on front counter. Every thing is so fast-paced, and while I know I'll get used to it, I really need help with the register (I get so nervous/scared trying to find buttons, making drinks and getting it all...
lol, I started this thread when I still had Vis Comm as my first preference.
Since then I've switched waaay too many times, and now it looks like I'm doing Interior Design. yay! :D
