Master Gopher thanks for the reply.
My trial marks were 24 for what is history, 23 for case study so yeah my marks are high and its a selective school so its meant to be decent but what you've learnt seems alot better.
My essays are long... I tend to write heaps in the time, and my essays...
Ok so I'm revising all my work for the exam thats in 3 days...
and I come on here and see a section on "historiographical quotes" that includes a range of terminology that we never got taught.
I'm coming first in my school at this subject but I'm not so sure we ever learnt the topics right...
Ok this is my working for it:
cosec(x.pi/6) = 1/sin(x.pi/6)
table of values:
x=1, y= 1/sin(pi/6) = 1/(1/2) = 2
x = 2, y = 1/sin(2pi/6) = 1/sin(pi/3) = 1/([root3]/2) = 2/[root3]
x = 3, y = 1/sin(pi/2) = 1/1 = 1
ok so then to the simpsons rule formula:
integral of cosec(x.pi/6)...
I think it should be compulsory and that the way it is offers alot of useful things to the students.
Firstly, what is the analysis of texts under a specified rubric giving us?
I'd say it basically teaches people to be conscious of the varying ways we can look at not just literature but all...
Yeah I agree with you I think that you could have brought in everything you discussed.
Also, there is the historian opinions... ie Aristotle and his fears of female power and Gynokokratia
just wondering... at the moment I'm thinking that this question could have been answered in one of two ways:
1) You took the personal interpretation idea to mean you focus solely one your interpretation.
In doing that you eliminated reference to other productions bar a small paragraph on...
What are you talking about?
English teaches you to appreciate literature and the value of texts in general. It gives you life skills in the fact that you have the ability to understand, perceive and think about concepts/ideas/things in general in a variety of different ways.
I understand...
"Argue your point"
That means simply argue what you believe the imaginative journey is in relation to that quote.
You can be for, against or both really.
If they could ask for a speech then why is a feature article such a stupid idea?
Although I agree with what you're saying the BOS are known for such outlandish, crazy moves.
I think:
Module A - interview
module B - essay
module c - speech/feature article or essay
That's some nice effort there el davo!!! (too bad you support the mariners!)
yeah our school marks hard to be honest... but thats because last years english completely screwed up.
We should be more like Tristan bloms year back in 2004 I hear from the teachers... there were 40 band 6s or...
yeah you are exactly right. the quote was perfect for poetry... I left the exam centre in a fury becuase as I left I thought of the perfect idea.
Poetry is a harder form, so if you are not experienced and, more importantly, in the right frame of mine to come up with something that is...
Calm down!
the question was not "speculation is the most important part of the IJ"
it was "more than anything else, the imaginative journeys are about the process of speculation" Hence, if you talked of speculation involved in the journey then you can still do very well for yourself :)...
