Have you already applied? I'm not sure about your uai question, but the mid year admissions through UAC have closed...just letting you know in case you hadn't applied yet and were planning to, :(
Ahhhhhhhh.....sorry, I must have read the UAC guide wrong, I wasn't sure if when u graduated you actually got a BCA or a BA because some names of courses don't indicate the actual award that is given. :p
Thanks for that, sounds like an interesting course (even if I'm not very business minded!), there seem to be less creative arts courses at uni's in sydney than there are in say, melbourne, and maq is the only one (i think) that even does a BCA...which ends up being a straight BA i think?
Hey, I'm at usyd at the moment but I was thinking of applying for MQ mid year doing a BCA (drama). I went to MQ the other day and the woman at the enqiury desk was no help at all and made me climb 8 flights of stairs to find another office, which she failed to notice had been moved...to the 1st...
Well last year our works were marked at school....except for a few that had to be sent out because of their medium. We had to finish on the set date and then they were locked away until the markers came...:)
Also, some of the tutes have been cancelled...at least my English lectures/tutes have ben cancelled for this week because it was too difficult to slot everyone in the rest of the week. So just check that they haven't all been cancelled, although I'm sure that any big changes like that would have...
Not too sure since I only just started uni but maybe if talked to ur tutors/lecturers in advance...ask them what they think/what will be covered/if u can get any notes etc?
Yeah...well that's what i assumed, that they don't start until next week. Although I have an Italian tutorial tomorrow (only class, Yay!) which will be on...i hope, since it says weeks 1-13, so just check...other than that...no tutes! (i don't think anyway:P)
Glad I don't have any such ridiculous starting times :p but I'm still nervous as hell...plus I tore a ligament in my leg at work the other day so now i'm going to be hobbling around uni for the first few days...:( Like I wasn't already nervous enoguh without the thought of having to walk like a...
Also a loner...two of my close friends ARE going to Usyd but they're at the con and SCA! Meh...hopefully i'll make some friends in tuts etc :o but I'm thinkin that uni is gonna be hella different to high school in that respect.
Personally, I'm quite happy for my High school friends not to attend the same uni as me (except that those that I would still like to go to uni with ARE going to the same one as me...just at different campuses! ) in terms of getting to know more people, having no-one there kinda...
Don't you just hate awkward silences? I mention this because there were quite a few during the group thing just after morning tea...even though I'm sure that everyone had more questions, no one would ask them...and I was counting on them to do it for me...not one for talking in front of a large...
