Well, yeah. That isn't fair at all. If you call up the Workplace Authority or something, you can hear about what your rights are in this situation without actually losing your job. It might be a good idea.
If you sign up for a course, you'll do the same amount of work as anyone else, it's just that your majors mean that you take more courses from the subject you're majoring in.
I read on the burgmann o-week thing that early on we go to B&G for enrollment advice, so I assume that's advice in person. Probably better to be conscientious and decide early though.
