Well, 3971 isn't working anyway - it says my code is wrong. So at least you have an ID? Maybe they put you in 3979 first and then transfer you to 3971 once your enrolment is confirmed for BIT? I'll call up tomorrow first thing to ask.

yep i got a call from pwc today (finally, after our many attempts at reaching each other lol) and if the phone interview was anything to go by, I'd say I failed pretty hard. All my friends got interview invitations right away.. on the phone... so now I'm pretty depressed lol. ah well...

is there much chance of PwC rejecting an applicant after the phone interview?
