Well its a graduate position ...the offer didnt say its subject to graduation so im not sure ... wonder if theyll check when i start? :S
DOES having more than one major really count?!?! Especially when you know you wont need it?
I've got a bit of a dilemma at hand...
Originally, I was due to graduate with a triple major in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting and Corporate Finance. However due to *cough* unforeseen circumstances from last semester, I failed 2 capstone units for my MA and finance majors...
basically two core units- one core for my MA major and the other for finance...and theyre both sem 1 units BUT i have to graduate b4 the end of the year so im dropping both majors to graduate on time with only FA- sad man ..really sad.... i got fcuked over from having 3 exams in a row ... well...
Have any of you guys managed to do this successfully? Without failing or having bad grades? Or tearing your hair out?
Ive scored a grad position at a mid tier accounting firm and have been allowed to start early if i wish .... four days on and one off for studyin, to attend compulsory tutes...
Financial accounting deals with producing reports for external users.... its concerned with the portrayal of the entity to external users be it clients, customers, potential investors, the Government, etc...
Management accounting deals with minimising the costs of the entity whilst achieving...

I left my first and last job, which was a customer service position, because I wasnt getting along with the boss and some other staff members there...but now that im lookin for work again, i need proof that i do have...
What are the chances of them checking our official transcript at or before the interview? Has anyone managed to land vacation work without having them sight your official academic transcript?
well yea i have to repeat them to complete my majors neway and yeah im willin to up my game n all ..but questioning if itll be worth it ...i dont wanna chuck in the hard yards only to (god forbid) graduate and not even be able to score an interview, let alone a job ...because all these fails...

Can anyone tell me what is the point in continuing on if i wont be able to get a job out of it in the end? What employer in their right mind would wanna hire me?!?!?!!??!?!
