You've probably decided by now, but:
Speak to both teachers - they know you and your abilities and therefore should know how you will cope with their courses.
Try doing both just for this term. If you find it hard, just try to keep up and put in a little extra time. Any time lost this term...
I use the Hieneman with excel. you read excel to get the basic idea, the the other for a bit (not much) more detail.
Thing is though that the Hiennys are a bit old now cause they keep changing the syllabus so they miss stuff (and then your teachers a dick and doesn't teach you anything so you...
HOORAY!!!
Take a breath and think about it:
No more English forced down our throats against our will ever again.
I'm sure some of you liked it, and will probably become teachers or whatever, but there is a simple word to describe you and your kind: Crazy.
For the rest of us...
It got me that it was just what you'd expect - especially for inner - i think that it appeared so simple probably through me off. yeh, maybe it is cause we're the fisrt journeyors (i hope thats a word, i just keep on using it in exams) but then if you look at other papers (mainly the 2001s for...
I did the heart one. i figured all journeys (esp. inner) must of had something to do with the heart so therfore if i put in some sentimental crap into a story based largely about fishing then it would be fine. main prob was that i kept on changing from pres to past tense.
i'm just glad i don't...
Stop it you're scaring me!
I compared texts 1 and 4 - i forget how, and i don't really care any more.
overall i thought it was a pretty good test (yeah the slides were crappy, didn't even want to talk about two of them)
i sorta just ignored the whole signpost thing cause i wasn't really...
Yeh, we only have stuff from the old course as well, but our teacher said the qwuestions was really just too deep and asked for way too much.
We really need a collection from everyone's trials.
try the hsc online website: hsc.csu.edu.au
it should either have info or links for it
if not, chances are it isn't in the syllabus, and all that can help you then is some bloody good research - maybe some of the more detailed text books (no ideas on which ones). otherwise - good luck
Does anyone have any HSC style Qs on Yeats other than ones form the old 3unit course? maybe if we could just get a collection form everyones trials happenning - that way you don't have to download them all!
Cheers
Actually, apparantly we did the harder X1 during the X1 course so we are covered for that (and the rest of the X1 class is able to answer the hard question at the end).
My teacher said that we should just finish in time and have a day spare! (muck up day all the way!)
Cheers
School rank does affect it but only so that they can work out the difficulty of your assessments. why not get a general idea of your mark using the SAM on this site? sure, its not exactly right, but it should give a rough idea.
Any way, if you go really well in the actual exam, that will help...
