Hey guys, I'm just wondering whether medicine at Monash is better than that at Newcastle? If you got both offers, which would you choose? (discounting transport factors etc..purely on the medicine-teaching/facilities/career factor please) And im not sure if someone has done this already, but...

hey 1st years...just so u don't get freaked out with the chem ssp stuff.. basically, in the first adv chem lecture which im guessing is 9am on the Monday 5th March (first day of uni!!!), they will tell u that there will be a special info session at 1pm (presuming its the same as mine last...

Templar is right...i did the chem SSP one last year and the labs were so much more fun than normal/adv labs - you do chem SSP for their lab work!! i think they accepted about 40 people at the start of the year but some people dropped for 2nd semester..if i didn't remember wrongly, i think after...

hahaha any reasons why? =P im not THAT "enthusiastic"!! im just worried and stressed thats why im going into such effort...

why, thank you =) you cant blame first-years for worrying because we're just about to make the transition from high school to uni, which is nevertheless different in the least...and you were a first-year once, and so are many other people..and maybe you didnt "whinge and worry" but other...

yup ive added you to my MSN tezOr... anyhow im turning up to the LAWS 1006 on Monday....although..us CHEM 1901 got an email that in lectures they will tell us more about the CHEM 1903/04 Chemistry Special Studies Program and how enrolments will be completed by Friday...maybe I'll dash over...

dum dee dum....... arggh first lecture on Monday - MATH1902 - Linear Algebra (Advanced).. followed by LAWS 1006 - Foundations..(will skip CHEM 1901)..

Re: Tsp im doing it too! anyone doing TSP who is doing Science(Advanced)/Law like me? :) anyways on my form i was really specific --> i didnt put "physics, chem, bio"..i think i put.. "human biology - human disease, pathology, physiology, immunobiology" etc etc and then yeah, that lady...
