Hi, i've nearly finished an economics degree at une majoring in economics and econometrics (D average) and am unsure what to do next year!
I don't know if I really want to do another Armidale year (for honours) so am wondering whether to go to MAC but am trying to decide whether to do honours...
Hi I'm currently studying a Bachelor or Economics at UNE majoring in Economics and Econometrics (2nd year) and can't decide whether to just do the degree or do honours as well. My problem is that a lot of the banks intern programmes need you to be in your penultimate year of study. I really want...
Austin apparently is the only college with TV sockets in every room. On the open day tour they boasted about it to my group. Also if your reception is iffy, try getting a set top box. They are only like $70 bucks from woolies. At home I had a reception that nearly un watchable and turned the...
Hi, I'm doing my online enrolling for a Bachelor of Economics at the moment and have chosen the following units

ECON 141
ECON 142
ECON 102
ECON 143
MATH 170
QM 162
I get to the end of the online enrolment and it says that I've finished and congratulations in your studies etc...
I sent my $1500 money order to Austin after I was offered a place there, but I haven't heard anything. Would I still be in? Also, what did people write in the school leaver UAI section. (We didn't get them until my offer lapsed)
B35Ty, once you're in uni, no one is going to give a stuff about what UAI you got, and if you tell people what you got they will think you are up yourself. This is what my Mum, Dad and cousin said (the went to UNSW, UTS and Newcastle). I just got 84.35 and I'm happy with that, because I got...
I saw on the news today that a big hailstorm happenned in Armidale. Do these happen often and do you think I'd be better off leaving my car at home and have my parents drive me to UNE at the start and end of term. I don't care about the cold but hail worries me.

At first I was a little bit disapointed, but I'm not anymore. Also, for anyone who got in the 50's but still wanted to go to Uni, go to latrobe in Albury. A Bachelor of Business only requires 50.5, or something like that. All hope is not lost.
I got in, but to Business/Economics, which was my choice in september. Since then I changed by mind to just economics, so UAC said to accept the combined degree and enrol, and then when i get the main round offer of just economics to enrol in economics and withdraw from business/economics.
