So I'm thinking of giving Economics (ECON1001) a second chance next year after having a break from it since HSC this year. However I've been told if I'm not a fan of equations and math-related problems, Political Economy may be better suited as it looks at the sociological impact of the economy...
Re: Things You Wish You Knew Before Starting Your HSC
I Wish I Knew Before Starting My HSC how screwed I would be if I didn't make notes and revise. Now I'm really really screwed.

I can't wait to be free of the burden of textbooks and notes and then I'll have soo much space in my room that I'll get to CLEAN it and KEEP it clean!
Then I'm going to print out every single photo I've ever taken this year and make my huuuuge scrapbook of Year 12!
I can't wait to go out and...
I enjoyed the Preliminary Course more than the HSC Course. Partially because I'm not performing as well this year as I was last year. But then my teacher changed as well so that took getting used to for me since their teaching methods were completely different to my ex-teacher.
Why don't you help the guy instead of sounding so shocked extraordinary07? And not all textbooks have "PAREE" and "BROLA".
Lol Gab you sound like such a snoot... "I don't use acronyms." :P
One of the problems with SAC not being so hard is that it doesn't scale so well either. But then thank god it's so straightforward... Hopefully getting marks will be as "easy" as shooting fish in a barrel. I swear I want to try shooting fish in a barrel one day.
Yep definitely stopped caring. Sortof.
Well no actually I lie.
I stopped caring so much when I dropped my UAI goal to like 83 for Arts at USYD..
But then I got some of my Trials results back and I bombed out pretty badly.
So now I'm caring again.
Tiny bit bigger than average classroom.
Heaps of cushiony seats.
Some tables.
Whiteboard.
TV and DVD player.
Stereo.
Sink/bench
Microwaves
Sandwich presser
Toaster
Kettles
Fridge/freezer..
:/ and for next year's year 12 I think we'll get them a heater or something.
I don't remember which company took our photographs but they took our individual pictures then allowed us to go and change into our muck-up gear before gradually assembling into the quad onto the steps and fighting for a spot in the limelight lol.
