I've done homestays while travelling around the US and Canada for sport. I've also had Italians, Americans and New Zealanders stay with my family and I, and on the whole found it to be a really really positive experience.
Okay, so to clarify, I got my second preference and am hoping to get my first preference in a second/late round offer. Do I need to do or change anything? Should I just accept the one I have, and I will still be eligible if my first preference comes up in another round?
And whats the difference...
WTF? Someone said to accept what I was offered and see if I get what I want in second round/late offers? The expiration to accept is on the 29th but second round's aren't released til the 31st????
Okay, I got my second preference in uni offers, but i'm hoping to get my first choice in second round offers. Do I not accept the offer i've gotten or accept it and change it later if I get something in second round offers? What's the process for this? Also, when are second round offers...
Well i'm one of the stupid ones. I'm really quite pissed because all my marks were in the high 80's except for english which was 79. SAM and JUAI predicted at about 74/75, and I ended up with 67.2, which isn't enough for the course I was interested in. Piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiissed.
I know that this isn't really a general question, but the PDHPE board is pretty dead, so I was wondering how many electives do you need to know? Is it 2 or 3?? So you need to know core 1, core 2, and 2 or 3 electives???
Thanks.
I think it's wrong how in a lot of subjects, it isn't about demonstrating understanding or really knowing the course content, more memorising the textbook and reciting it in the exam.
That's truly awful. I'm so glad that i've got my head around the fact that this is NOT the be all and end all by any stretch of the imagination. It doesn't matter if you don't get your course straight away next year, maybe you'll attend the school of life next year and go back as a mature age...
