Wow, so I'm browsing BoS for tutoring resources and I stumble across this thread I created so long ago :eek: Just to bring this thread closure, I ended up getting a UAI of 99.65. I remember being so shocked when I found out, because I honestly thought a jump from 98.3 to 99+ was impossible...

Hehe, stewmazza's posts have made me laugh for the first time today. Although I do feel sort of sorry for him, thinking of the shock he'll get when he reads his HSC results. I didn't do too well, but I'm over it now. Expecting 65-75 (hopefully higher if my fudging pays off!)

Rather than the lack of resources, I think most schools choose Speer over Chifley because he's been (comparatively) more influential in the modern world. On the off-hand, I've never understood why schools would choose Australian history in senior years! Yes, it is interesting but wouldn't...

I go to a top 3 school and the majority of my grade is aiming for a 850-900 word count, so we'll have plenty of time to adapt to the question and add more if need be under exam conditions. Quality, not quantity guys!

Thanks for the encouragement guys :) I really want to do Arts/Law next year because even though I suck at them, i really love what we learn in legal studies and english at school. But say my ranks at school are really shoddy: Advanced English 61/~180 Extension English 30/~120 4u English 3/50...

As title suggests. Is it realistic for me to aim for something above 99?
