does 1906/7 have its own exam? coz i know u guys do the same exam as 1901/3 but do u have a "special" exam/assesment?

yeah its uni stuff. at least i learnt for the first time in uni. good 'ole MATH1902 (linear algebra). its quite simple once u use the formula, but the explanantion involves learning all the stuff before, esp about position vectors, and 3D space, and the all the angles relative to the 3 axis...

i think phys and bio have that getting a distinction thingo. as far as i now, chem (1907/8/9) students dont hafta get a D, mainly coz that is more of a specialised chemistry for thier course. maths i dunno, but i dont think u hafta get a D. they never mentioned nething about it.

there is an easier nmethod... much easier. to prove the dot product = 0, all you hafta do is multiply all the co-effs of the position verctors. in english, that translates to, make a postion vector of point u and v, and multiply the corresponding co-effs of the 2 vectors. here it is...

yeah ther's only one stream, although 2 tuts u can attend. i think theres 2-3 possible lab sessions as well, but lecs are fixed.

me too. thought it was a nice straightforward exams. id be expecting sumthing around 95 raw, coz there wasnt nething that was challenging ro difficult. id still be happy wif nething over 90 tho.

its true. once u have enuff working for the marks, u get em. they dont bother to see the answer half the time, coz soo many things could contribute to an incorrect answer, e.g calc error etc.

yep to everything. in 7b), yr equating co-effiecients of x^k from memory. the last part involves using the part before it and part i) to get that expression, which is also equating the coeffs of x^k

wow 2 threds which have turned into bitch fests, funny that mary was the backbone of both.... i agree completely with withouaface. i dont have nething against ppl who dont do well, nor do i want them to do bad, but if there are sooo many threds of ppl complaining omg i failed, and crying over...

im expecting sumfin between 78-83/84, but closer to the higher ange. didnt go as well in 4U. max i can get is 93/120, and i know ie amde sum mistakes, so prolly around 85-87/120. i definately wouldnt say the exam was easy. it was a good paper imo, but most 4U ppl are sposed to find 3u easy...

didnt think it was an easy exam, but manageable nonetheless. btw if the SHM q was 4:28am, i can push my expectation to 83/84. yay me. pfft. i would like to know wot ppl thort of the last q tho. imo it wasnt straightforward, coz i found it hard to prove, but i did it nonetheless.
