As suggested by the title, has anyone received a response from Penrith High School or Girraween High School. For a fact I know around this time of the year they begin to send the outcomes to students and I'm eagerly waiting. Good luck to all students who applied for a selective school :D

For exam preparation, I rewrite the important notes on the topics being tested. Once that's done, I usually devote my time into remembering my notes for the remainder of the time I have left for the exam. I generally don't do practice exams as I find doing the textbook questions more suitable...

I usually focus a lot more on Maths and Science exams and study as much as I can for them. However, for exams such as English and History, I might not spend as much time.
