As far as I know you can pretty much do any combo of IT/commerce in a semester. As long as you get all that you need by the end of your degree its ok. At least that's what its like for sci/comm. Not too sure though because IT/comm is a new degree.
As far as INFO/INFS go, I'm pretty sure you...
5. I think they accept like 20 people into the degree or something pretty small like that but you share classes with people from other degrees, like the BCST, BSci(Comp sci/isys), etc etc.
I haven't done any 3rd year cosc, but I did the first year cosc in C and from memory I walked out of it still knowing very little about C. You only really get the very basics out of it, and even then I didn't really understand it because the lecturer was a fan of "here is my code, add this line...

Two of my units have the warning: "The central timetable does not have reliable details for this unit of study, please consult the department." Has anyone had this before? Do I actually need to do anything or will it sort itself out?
I'm thinking of doing ECON1002 next semester but I haven't done ECON1001 or really any economics at all (I do a double degree so I can do my commerce 1st year subjects in any order). For those who have done both, do you think I'll be disadvantaged in any way having not done it in 1st semester...
Yeh, I always have money in it. It's weird because I can access the internet on the computers in the access labs and on the library computers, just not the e&b ones.
Has anyone who modified their subjects yesterday received a confirmation e-mail about it yet? Or can I just assume that my changes have gone through, confirmation e-mail or not.
