I am studyin engineering and need to choose electives. MATS1101 is the recommended one but i am trying to decide between this or CHEM1011. The handbook descriptions sound like similar content ..is there an acrual difference? What if I choose both? Is that even possible? Advice/past...

So it is not worth the effort going to a different lecture class?

I have some activities planned on a particular Friday soon and since I only have lectures on Fridays, I've been told I can just crash other lecture classes. Now I'm wondering how to determine whether the class I'm gonna crash is going to be teaching the same things as what I'm going to be...

I thought MATH1131 had 1 lecture and 2 tutorials?

Thanks; and why does ENGG1811 (http://www.handbook.unsw.edu.au/undergraduate/courses/2013/ENGG1811.html) say "0 indicative hours per week", whereas you have to enrol for a 2hr Laboratory class and 3hr Lecture class??

For the timetables, apart from enroling for a Laboratory class and Lecture class, what is the 'Other' class for? Do we need to enrol for that too?

Update: I just receivedanother email saying my mark has been changed. I logged onto students online and the change is there, but on uac i still have the same atar?

Thats the point...i didnt request for a revision/remarking 0.0

For some odd reason, uac sent me an email saying my atar has been revised and changed But when i log back into uac to check, it is srill the same as before...only that it says at the top "as at 8 january 2013"

Anybody know how long it takes to ride a bike from Central station to Kensington? Is it a difficult ride?

Question:: To confirm; our offer letter/email will include our UNSW ID and password? We can then use this ID to create our UniPass? (or should we use UAC number)?

My teacher (hsc marker) said they don't align optionally (ie. crime writing would align the same as any other elective) Anyone clarify this?
