Hi, are they still running the HAST in 2022? This is probably a dumb question but i cant really find info about it online… also, what are the schools that dont require you to sit an in person test? asking for someone applying internationally. thanks!
Usyd and unsw require disadvantage but there are plenty other early entry programs for other unis that are open to all students.
You may also want to check the EAS website or speak to your careers counsellor to check if you qualify for disadvantage. The system is kinda broken and certain...
do you actually think ? its nice to have some perspective because i was skeptical about it too, but everyone at my school seems to be really unprepared as well
might also be different across the different schools
yeah, sucks that covid and lockdown affected different groups of people to different degrees, some even positively! annoying how the naturally smart crammers are probably less affected... but i guess thats life. nesa decided not to cancel the hsc so we in this whether we like it or not i guess
thats comforting to know, since lots of people have been catastrophising recently about being on track for a particular atar but lowering their expectations since hsc started... does that mean we still have hope of getting a good atar? loll
i thought atars were relative since theyre a rank? so idk if the idea of fixed standards would apply to uni cutoffs (if thats what you're referring to). pretty sure everyone in our year is banking on everyone being collectively unprepared for the hsc for their marks to get scaled up. not...
if you go to school in one of the LGAs your principal would have applied for special considerations for your whole year
if not, you could have applied individually if you meet certain criteria, but the deadline was yesterday
did you get n=18 and T1=1000(1.1)^17 .... T18 = 1000 ? again, she only puts $1000 in at the end of the year so there is no interest earned in the first year
i think its cause she invests 800 at the end of the year, so T1=800(1.075)^4 and T5 = 800 instead of T1=800(1.075)^5 and T5 = 800(1.075) :)
that should work out to S5 = 4646!
