I did 14 units because I couldn't decide what to drop, but if I was doing it again I would only do 12... it was ok workload-wise until it got close to exam time (but doing a subject by distance when I have zero time-management skills may have added to that).
I'd say do 12!
oh, I know I got into the uni as I deferred this year.. so it's just the accomodation I need to know about. but it seems that it's still too early to be worried yet?
(I know there's the guarantee but I'm just worrying that I did something wrong in the process.. it'll probably be fine.)
I'm doing Arts (hoping to transfer into Arts- IR) and want to do French and Spanish. Is this possible/ advisable? Has anyone done two languages at uni?
Furbob:
I work at a Baker's Delight and I just went in and handed in my resume to the manger, they got me to start the next day. They're pretty much always looking for casuals, we have a really high turnover rate...
ok, thanks.
I'm put B&G as my first choice, Bruce as my second, so depending what happens there that will make a bit of a difference to how much money I have..
yeah, I figured textbooks were the biggest expense, and since I expect to have all my stuff from home that should be ok, just...
I'm driving my mum's car to and from work.. it's got third party insurance and is under her name and all... does this insurance cover me too?
I don't want to buy insurance for me (if that's what should happen) since I'm moving away in a couple of months and don't want to pay for a whole year's...
could anyone give me a vague idea of how much money I'm going to need to have when I move to canberra? for textbooks etc, and anything else you can think of... and possibly before I get the chance to find a job.. what would be reasonable?
